At just 18, Cornwall-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jake Harrison has already left his mark on various renowned venues, including Boardmasters, The Royal Albert Hall, Plymouth Pavilions, and The Eden Project - inspiring him to perform regularly across the Southwest. From starting solo performance at age seven to studying music at Truro College, Jake's journey shows a passion for crafting emotive lyrics and acoustic melodies influenced by artists like Tom Odell and Lizzy Mcalpine.
Active in Cornwall's music scene, Jake has collaborated with local organisations such as AsOne, CYC, Carn To Cove, Hall For Cornwall, TK Music Lab, and Source FM. Being passionate about fundraising and charitable causes, in 2023, Jake was invited by Cornwall Air Ambulance to perform at one of their prominent fundraising evenings, leveraging his music to support their cause.
Looking past 2024, Jake is gearing up to release his music on major streaming platforms, with plans to play at more gigs and festivals across the southwest. His goal is to build a community and connect with listeners through his heartfelt tunes and messages.
